Honestly, if some scientists can, in a given situation, make a legitimate argument it is going to cause someone's death, fine. But the kind of junk science that has led to the GW hype, for example, doesn't cut it.

It is lunacy. You don't stop progress to protect some unimportant species. You don't build million dollar tunnels for turtles.

You just have to be a little bit reasonable.
