I know in 1961 in Hawaii, people born in a hospital and I suppose medical clinics, they received a Birth Certificate or what people are calling a Long Form Birth Certificate which has actual birth witnesses such as the attending physician. People say born at home, or in a VW bus or what have you had to submit a form requesting a Certificate of Live Birth which they freely provided in return without say signatures of witnesses, a sworn statement etc. In 1961, anyone, regardless of where they were born, could obtain a CoLB in Hawaii if they were a resident and requested a certification from the Hawaii Medical Examiner’s office. The CoLB is based on the honor system.
A woman born in Hawaii in 1961, on the same day as Obama, requested and obtained a copy of her Long Form Birth Certificate and released it to the public and it had very detailed information on it from the name of the Physicians, names of the parents, time of birth, name of the hospital...all kinds of data. The CoLB for obvious reasons has almost no data on it at all. Obama still says he was born in one of two hospitals, depending on which day you ask him. OK, so there should be a Birth Certificate that looks like this one this woman showed for herself. |
