If its done locally and voluntarily, government may be tolerable (even beneficial), as long as one has the right and ability to leave the oppressive (a subjective term, certainly) jurisdiction and avoid the taxation thereof. The United States makes financial emigration more and more difficult as it becomes more and more a fascist/socialist dictatorship.

Maybe we should shut down the "fascist/socialist dictatorship" for 60 days a year to save some money. Let's see:

No traffic lights
No speed limits
No soldiers fighting
No social security checks
No Medicare or Medicaid
No running water
No street lights
No street maintenance
No police
No fire department
No public schools
No food inspection
No air quality controls
No Etc
No Etc
...

We could be just like Haiti! No taxes, no infrastructure... completely FREE of that horrible intrusive government!
