Kumar, or anyone: James Morgan says he does not expect a slowdown in orders due to the Asian currency crisis, because it is actually LOWERING their costs. However, a friend of mine says that Taiwanese fabs typically fund new fab construction by new public stock offerings, and that the stock prices over there have gone down so much that this will force them to cut back or push out equipment orders. Can anyone provide any information to confirm or deny this scenario?
