Expect press release tomorrow on Wonderware CD bundling and more. "....there isn't enough time for manufacturers... there are barriers to entry for TPRO competitors.... TPRO is a little late, but they are the only ones.... they (customers) will be beating down the doors for the CD"
Remember Karl's point, the real money comes from the resultant database, which customers will pay TPRO to assemble. They, TPRO, should have the largest industrial database anywhere when the dust settles.
It's not enough to have the factory compliant. All vendors, wholesalers, distributors, jobbers, retailers, etc. have to be also, or the wheels fall off. A lot of companies won't make it. It's already too late to save everyone. Prices will skyrocket as we get close to midnight. How much is organizational survival worth?
