Totally agree with that. In WA State, I've never been able to figure out why the Repubs have been such a lackluster group, filled with just single "blinders on" goals. When the ship is sinking, they keep fighting for a separate room for whatever the topic de jour. In the meantime, the Dems keep on finding total ignoramus's like McDermott and Murray who have no competition.... And yet, now that the Dems made Registration of Party a requirement to vote in Primaries, if we want to have a voice, we have to register as a Dem or Repub. No other choice.
