4/16/10 Update
Despite the evil wrought by the Great Vampire Squid on Friday, both the broad market and biotechs finished the week a bit higher. At Friday's closing bell, the Nasdaq Composite Index was up 9.35% YTD (vs. up 8.15% YTD a week ago), while the Nasdaq Biotech Index closed up 12.89% YTD (vs. up 12.73% YTD a week ago) and the Contest median closed up 17.78% YTD (vs. up 15.23% YTD a week ago).
RKRW's portfolio (up 46.77%% YTD) barely edged out GHMM's portfolio (up 46.67% YTD) to hold on to first place.
At Friday's close, 29 of the 32 Contest portfolios remained in the black with an impressive 25 of the 32 besting the NBI. Well done biotechies!
