I heard all about how real estate prices in southern California were going to be zooming up for decades because of all of the poor immigrants arriving from the countryside in Mexico.

That story didn't sound believable to me, and proved not to be.

Now I hear stories about how real estate prices in China are going to be zooming up for decades because of all of the poor immigrants arriving from the countryside in China.

That story doesn't sound any more believable to me than the first.
