Well, you know what tips me over to the Dems? They are the only ones that I believe are credible when they talk about oil independence. They'll do it for all sorts of reasons, including climate change, but then I get what I want. The GOP have zero credibility, because they are bought and paid for by the oil companies. That is my top issue. Everything else is secondary to me.

I'm not clear how you square that with the fact that it has been the Ds all along standing in the way of the United States drilling for oil where it should be drilling.

What has Obama done? WTF has Obama done? The most obvious solution to this problem is CNG, which saves consumers money, has decreased emissions and best of all -- we have a 100 year supply -- which has actually GROWN by 1/3 over the last five or so years.

So, why isn't anything being done about this? Nissan, the soon-to-be world leader in electrics, has said you're talking about no more than 1-2% of US vehicles will be electric within 10 years. That is hardly an immediate solution to the problem.

The truth is you cannot show how anything Obama and the Ds has done REALLY moves us toward independence -- certainly not in any material way. It is same bullcrap.

If that's your reason for supporting the liberals (at the cost of massive increases in deficits) then it isn't a very good one.
