<If they were concerned about the budget and protection they would hire the other dozen cops> Thank you for you brilliant analysis of the budget of a police force for a city you know nothing about. The possibility that overtime for 6 weeks makes more sense than hiring 24 more cops that are not needed 40 weeks out of the year is of course not possible -- it is all just a matter of their greed and stupidity and your keen insight and virtue. Or it could be an ignorant person mouthing off on internet chat -- gosh, that never happens does it? Thank you for uncovering yet another 'conspiracy' by those monsters who work soley to defraud us all while killing us, robbing us and pretending to be doing a diffucult, dangerous and mostly thankless job.
