Yes, they do.....see SS.

This is not a for-profit enterprise where revenues are reinvested into capital, R&D, and revenue growth.

Its doesn't have to be......you accumulate the revenues until you need them.

Instead, this is a government entitlement program where the money is redistributed from those who are able to those who are in need.

You make is sound so ugly.

The benefits of said entitlement program might be a net positive for the economy as a whole ... if you believe in the Michael Moore school of thought.

It will be.....more will be getting preventative care that will lead to less illness, less BK over illness and longer lifespans.

But if that's the case, the benefits should have started from day one, not pushed out until four years from now.

Obama is fiscally responsible. He wants the money there before he starts the program. Its called paygo.

Face it, the only reason why taxes start now and benefits start later is to make the numbers look good.

No matter what the reasoning that will always be your conclusion. Right?
