That is an interesting essay. I think the US is actually very strong in energy, tho, with marcellus shale gas, bakken shale oil, and also nuclear...i think robotic technology will be key for success in economics and in war. At the moment we have an advantage, but ...god help us...if we fall behind. US culture desperately needs a foundation for reason, I have two teenage kids, and it is frightening to witness the mindless social immersion which generally occurs. RP
