Maybe if you spent more time talking to Tea Party members and less time trying to point out the extremists, you'll actually find a coherent libertarian position.


It is very strange that someone would call their position anything BUT coherent.

Honestly, I don't know that I've seen a political "organization" with such a laser-like focus -- STOP SPENDING. That's the message. The total message. TP members are scattered on other aspects of their views and AFIAK, aren't talking about them. They just want the spending stopped.

If there is an incoherent position it is that of the Ds who are -- at their own peril -- ignoring the TP as a legitimate interest.
