It wasn't just the talking point. He used Joe's name like seven times in the debate. But no, that doesn't prove that Joe was a "manufactured character."

What does is that:

1. His name wasn't really Joe.
2. He wasn't really a plumber.
3. He didn't really have the business he said he did or stand to take the tax hit he said he did.
