if you like the ag business there is a canadian closed end fund crp.to that makes ag investments that sells for an aproximately 30% discount to nav. they report monthly on the nav and charge 2% mangegement plus performance fee.

also if you are willing to pay a steep commission fee the malaysian reit i purchased is call Keck Seng and trades in malaysia, it is a reit that also owns palm oil plantations. recommended by by an asian value investor so i wanted to take a small long term position despite the sharp appreciation of late. I think palm oil has lots of long term potential and not so easy to invest in it. I was late to the party but hopefully not too late. i guess long term we will see if oil or palm oil is the better investment.
