Here's two emails I've received from one individual in the last two weeks or so.

Hello, my name is XXXXXXXX you guys will soon read my posts on the
Cymer thread. I have been with you guys for about 3 weeks now. I have XXXX shares of Cymer long. I use Omega researches Trade Station 4.0.

I am an Equipment Engineer in the Etch area for a large Semi plant in Austin Tx. I have been in the industry for 14 years. I work in the R&D lab. We have a couple of Cymer lasers that perform flawlessly. We will be going all laser next year. I really got excited about this stock a few months ago when I found out the laser chamber wears out after 10 million or so cycles and needs to be replaced. I have been watching Cymer since November 1996 when my wife's (process eng. in the Photo area 16 years experience) boss was over the house and recommended it to me. My freinds in advanced Photlith say that photo masks are extremely difficult and expensive to make for future Litho apps i.e., X-ray and that Excimer is here for at least 5 years or more solid.

The problem with the masks or reticles which ever you call them is
that X-rays or Euv do not penetrate the reticle.

-----------------------

I am an Equipment Engineer at a Large Semiconductor plant in Austin. I wanted to say a few things:

1. We are using Cymer to produce 0.14 micron lines.

2. X-ray is already here but the reticles or masks are very difficult to produce making them non production worthy. In addition
the slow through-put with X-ray is another thing pushing this technology out at least 5 years.

3. When a large Semi company buys a new fab they buy proven technology

4. When a large semi company has a proven technology, they copy exact.

Please let everyone know these things. I have been in the industry 14 years.

I am long Cymi and have two many options NOV 27 to be feeling like spending any more money at this time.
