Some news from Oct 31 (better late than never) Briefing.com: "We are in the process of wringing out the excess now... We have a ways to go... Particularly in the computer systems group, where some analysts are just coming to realize that increased competition and inflated valuations aren't a good mix... Surprisingly, a couple of Internet companies have fared relatively well during the sell-off... But in a market where established industry leaders are getting marked down significantly, this trend won't last... Look for sellers to set their sights on AOL and Amazon.com any day now." Hasn't exactly turned out that way for AOL, but mabey it will for AMZN?
