Interesting Sully. Earlier today, I just about went nuts with an article talking about these new forces, and still feel that way as far as these new forces to be sent to quell riots, or anything of that nature.

If we have riots of the 67-70 time frame, then I would think the Local and State Police would handle them. If need be, the National Guard would be called by the Gov of the State. But Federal troops going to quell "riots"?????

Who defines "riots"...What are the Government definitions of "riots" now....Have they changed?

I know many on this thread and certainly you Sully, know history pretty well. We remember as kids, what happened in Germany and Russia, and to the world in general. We learned as young people and adults what some of the causes were, and we realized what a Nationalized force against citizens could do... That is my fear, and probably the fear for most of us. If it isn't, my guess it will be soon.
