All, see the News Only thread for AT&T WorldNet's evaluating GX550 & CBX500.

I would call going from 0 to 14 % within a year as gaining market
share, wouldn't you ?

Anindo, any newcomer is bound to get a finite share of the RAS market, including CSCO, COMS and BAY. But TNT is a generation ahead of its counterparts and is priced competitively too.

GRF1600 and 400 IP switch is replacing some CSCO's routers at the core. COMS's Corebuilder 3500 Layer3 switch is gaining market share at the expense of CSCO's router. CSCO is late w/ Gigabit hub/router which is pre-empted by GB CoreBuilder 5000, 6000, 7000, and 9000. ASND's CBX500 Switch with multiservice capability allows service providers to deliver
ATM, Frame Relay and IP services on a single platform surpassing CSCO's BXM-622.

CBX 500

ATM, Frame Relay, and IP Switching
High Speed Frame Relay
2.5 - 5 Gbps switch capacity
10/100 Mbps Ethernet
DS1/E1 - OC12/STM-4

ASND's GX550 w/ trunking up to OC-48 has no CSCO's equivalence.
