As to GM repaying some loans:

I think it is great; but let me know when they are no longer 60% government owned (i.e., when someone decides to buy them from the government).

Unless it is at bargain basement rates, who in hell would buy shares in an organization that is under the thumb of the UAW? I sure as hell wouldn't. I'd bet you wouldn't, either.
