There is a team of "developers" they met on the Prodigy TA BB's in 95 and 96. Got together in summer of 96 in Biloxi MS under the leadership of Richard Estes and Dave Evans. Move to SI in 9/96 and met again with added TA enthusiasts in New Jersey in July of this year. Next year in Cleveland for TAOTN(TA on the NET) - III under the guidance of Chandler Everett.

Jack Landis's concept is to use 5 different time periods in stochastics to see the different levels of a stock's movement. His weighted formula combines all 5 into one view as well. He believes that if you look at the weighted and the individual indicators- you can use this methodology for entry and exit.

I use the 55-21-5 stochastic myself and a series of stochasticRSI indicators over several time periods for similar purposes.
