Sue Lowden, the leading repub candidate to go up against Harry Reid as Senator from Nevada has seriously suggested "barter" as a way for Nevadans to pay their doctors for health care...you know, give the doctor some chickens, paint his office or home or maybe since it is Nevada give him Lotto tickets. What do you think?...will your office staff take some of the chickens instead of that paper stuff you have been giving them.

She certainly DID NOT.

She pointed out that there was a time in the past when physicians were paid with barter and IN NO WAY suggested, let alone "seriously", that it was a way to pay for health care today.

In fact, she was making the point -- correctly -- that physicians consistently, over the years, have been exceedingly pliable in terms of the way in which they were paid.

Don't spread this kind of lie. If you didn't make it up you knew damned well what you said isn't true. Anyone who saw her make the statement has to have known this.

If you want to lie like this take it to the AMD thread where ALL of you do it.
