Last night, on American Idol, they had a family of what appeared to be five - a mom and four kids. They were living in truly pathetic circumstances, which was truly a sad thing.

But I noticed one of the kids was like 2-3 years old, tops, and wondered at what point it occurs to the mom to stop having babies. I mean, really. I felt sorry for the kids and everything but isn't the mom responsible for her own behavior, ever?
