What statement screamed "screw you" to you? It was the tone, not any argument. Most of what was said was not argument but rhetoric. You're discounting the general tenor, which was obstructionist and invective. No, I didn't hear a "screw you" proposal or argument made, although I didn't hear the converse, either. (The above are comments strictly about how the R's handled the issue, not about the R's relative to the D's.)
