In the early days of jet travel they always travelled on separate flights. One of the parents went to their death in a mid air collision over Westchester County NY circa 1960. In 1980 there was a fire at the Stouffers Inn in White Plains, NY. 26 executives from Avco Electronics and IBM died. Most of the senior executives of Avco were among the dead. I used to double date with Linda. Her date was a pilot in Viet Nam and is still MIA.
