You know...this has been a very educational
experience (and don't anyone take this the
wrong way...because I think it's all been
a good thing) in both the mechanical and
logistical machinations around a merger such
as this and the effects all that has on the
individual investor when things don't just
turn out as expected. The first day was at
first a breath catcher and, I think, it was
OK (sort of) that some folks vented and voiced
their concerns in their own way. There was
this contest and everyone expected to see a
higher price and, magically, that all the
brokerage services would convert all their
shares immediately and correctly...and, of
course, we'ld all be rich. I expect sometime
in the future we will point to this stock
event as an example of what to expect on
another one...at that time there will pro-
bably be a few chuckles about what went on.

The problem with e-mail is that there is no
tonal inflection or body language (grins,
smirks, eye rolls, etc) to go with it so
what you read is what you get and that seems
to often result in flames.

The bottom line is that if you believe in
what you believed in last week then today
is OK..if not then you should sell and get
out - it's that simple (for me - beeg grin)

The thread will get back to where it's supposed
to be (I hope - I've gotten a lot out of it)...

keep the faith...
