PET ECOLOGY ANNOUNCES CHANGE IN MANAGEMENT

Dallas, TX (March 1, 2010) Pet Ecology Brands Inc., a manufacturer of technologically advanced earth-friendly natural products that are safe for pets, people and the planet announced the appointment of Paul Lien to the position of Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. This follows the resignation of Ralph Steckel from these leadership roles. Mr. Steckel will continue in his role as Chief Pet Product Designer, as President of a newly formed R&D subsidiary, Pet Ecology Products, Inc.

“It is time for a new management team, with new ideas to lead the company and to maximize its market potential. My first love has always been to bring exciting products to market and I now can devote my full time and attention to that mission.” stated Steckel. Joining Mr. Lien on the Pet Ecology board will be Marshal Dooley, Corporate Attorney; James Goff , Owner SIMCO Inc; and Michael Vasquez, a Telcom Executive and a board member for the past year.

“It is the incredible products that Ralph has developed that convinced me that Pet Ecology could become a leader not only in the eco-friendly pet product world, but a dominant force within the entire $1.4 billion cat litter market, where environmentally friendly products are eroding the once dominant market share of clay-based litter products.”, said Lien.
