Arizona passed the new immigration law. Obama will almost certainly want to pass some federal law that overrides the will of the people of Arizona because most on the left see the 500,000 illegals in Arizona (and the millions that will follow) as future members of the democratic party. Without even knowing the merits of the law, I can say with confidence that trying to override it is intrinsically evil behavior because the people of Arizona have expressed THEIR FREE WILL. If some left wingers don't like it, they don't have to live there. That is the beauty of state power. Whether or not the illegals are an economic burden to the state of Arizona, whether they will eventually become a bigger burden to a borderline bankrupt country like the US, whether or not being lenient encourages more illegal immigration, and what Arizonians actually want is irrelevant to many on the left. The only thing that matters is ramming their values down every else's throats and gaining more power. That is intrinsically EVIL behavior. washingtonpost.com
