Mish; If Washington State passes an income tax for the first time and some of this money is dedicated to schools - haven't the people spoken? In virtually every district in Washington we have just recently passed property tax increases for more school funding. So in a democracy - haven't the people spoken? Still six months out for vote on income tax, but I think the income tax - supported by Bill Gates Sr by the way - has a chance. I'm against it and will almost certainly vote against it - but I do believe in democracy. Steve
