Rodney, again you talk about things you know little about. Its obvious that you are a staunch supporter of Datek and you have your reasons. I have not said anything untrue or misleading while you have. As far as my case goes, you know very little about it, like I can really never know the full story about you and Ameritrade. Datek already admitted to me they made the mistake and then they admitted they handled it poorly afterwards. A Datek personnel already told me that it is apparant that I acted in good faith and based on what Datek as my broker told me. And there is more! My complaint with them will be resolved in due time and through the proper means.

In the meantime, this problem has caused me to learn a lot about Datek, that may assist others. Let them make their own informed decision. You act like a PR agent of the company. Always rationalizing their mistakes and problems and making Datek seem like they are more than what they are. They are a "SOES Bandit" firm looking to make a profit off of the Internet Broker explosion. They have some good computer systems. But lousy phone support, lousy customer support and no fiduciary responsibility toward their clients. They regularly make errors in peoples portfolio's and, unless a person knows how to jump from server to server, have inconsistent perfomance.

All anyone needs to do is read this thread thoroughly and draw their own conclusions. My observations are honost and based on my own experience and what I read on this thread. For a change let them defend themselves Rodney.
