If fit was not for illegal immigration, we would be paying a much higher price for our food. Immigration is a difficult issue and defies a solution that benefits a majority. And it makes no sense to be punitive with those poor illegals when we let those high flyer criminal at Wall Street go free. I see no reason for compassion in dealing with Wall Street criminals who bilk the nation. But it is a different story for those illegals who who toil so that we can lead comfortable lives. If you want to witness "modern day slavery", you may do so by visiting the fields and the barrios in the Salinas area of CA.
