I believe that hyper-optimism has done a dis-service to SI confidence. With an inordinant number of reactionary traders and speculators, anything beyond the next quarter is difficult for this board to value.

True, the short term cash-flow looks weak. So what? The balance sheet is strong; the storage market is just opening up to FC; internationally, ATM is dead and GE is a distant spectre of its former self; and R&D expenditure is stable for the moment (Brocade must now react).

Deals such as OEM require high level contacts as much as product. Old Ancor did not have the contacts, new Ancor does. Does this board honestly believe that the management talent recently attracted would leave their positions to speculate on a loser?

Personally, I'm buying. The risk/reward at this price is hard to pass up, even for you day traders.
