That is not the case. THis is the issue that the Republicans think they can unite their base to come out and vote. It is a well known fact that the immigration issue pits the Republican base against the Hispanics. That the Republicans chose to have this fight has been discussed here yesterday, is easy to agree after following the course of event over the course of last week and now this post.
