I want to correct that:
-published reports in peer reviewed literature (New Eng JM ), the only one that counts, is 65% for Muse.
-preliminary study at the Lahey /Joslin Clinic in Boston, presented to the Annual meeting of the American Diabetes Assos is 50%.
-Locally, talking to my friends a large ( 10+ Urologists,in tertiary care facility; 800+ patients :
-30-40 % effective.
-Erection is diffuse, throughout organ;
-organ sits in a horizontal position, able to achieve penetrtion and have satisfactory intercourse
-previously reported low success rate, and " knotting " phenomenon in penis had to do with improper use: men were not diffusely massaging the aerea to assure equal dispersion.
-these are 98% organic
-the 2% psychogenic get a better type of erection
-penile pain less than3%
-Women partners interviewed:
-none had vaginal pain.
-some women commented on oral sex: there were no untoward reactions/taste
-over 75% at least were in stable cojugal relationshios.
-effect on fetuses so far unknown.
- no pregnancies in this group yet.
-however this group warns all patients that if pregnancy IS NOT wanted then they SHOULd USE A CONDOM or other prophylaxis, because they cannot exclude pregnancy.
-all 30-40% of successfull patients refilled their prescriptions.Most get refilled on the phone
-the Axis band gives better results and a lot are using that now.

Thus overalll I think that the medication is effective in about 45% of people.

Forthcoming MUSE plus Prazosin has better results.

In regards to Viagra we can only go bu what the company says.There is only one publishe dstudy and it is mostly psychogenic.
Think of Viagra as a " facilitator" of an erection, not a starter like Muse.The problem with differentiating it though in their claims that it also works in organic ED is that we have no peer reviewed studies
that indicate how these people were tested.
All men with Psych ED by and large get NOCTURNAL spontanoeus erections: ie thereis nothing wrong with penis.The brain needs therapy.Were these patients excluded? and how?
Judging from the FDA's muzzling of their Niagara Ads it is clear the PFE is exaggerating their claims.

PFE has a similar misleading history of Hype: 3 -4 months ago they settled out of court a lawsuit by Baush & Lomb for misleading competing Ads for eyedrops or eyeglasses.
