Nick; Although your frustration is palpable, everything you said is right on the money. To blame the analyst(s) is absurd as every investor should do their own homework on stocks before making any investment. I personally believe that William Rabin and other analysts were blindsided, as was mentioned in a previous post. There is simply no way that he would have put out a buy recommendation had he known what we now know. People who think that these conspiracies exist are not serious investors for they would be aware that no analyst would impair his or her reputation with that kind of shenanigan.

It is my belief that Mr. Rabin was mislead as were other analysts and you are correct in pointing out that this is one of the reasons this stock did not clawback some of its loss. The analysts that work at the big houses like J.P Morgan are always very astute, intelligent and honest individuals. No folks, the problem here lies elsewhere.
