Excellent questions, I can answer them together this way:

My model measures both time and price equally... for this trade, I'm using two different time component models that work together... based on the time component of my first model, today is the last possible day for this rally to continue... I do have a broader model which gives this rally another nine market days... the vertical price for the near term model is 1208.60, the vertical price for the longer term model is 1225.60, for the sake of brevity in this post you can read the definition of a vertical price in the header of this thread...

Since we're already below the lower vertical price on the final day of this time cycle, I anticipated that a sell signal would likely be triggered... and in fact, it was triggered soon after I took the short position... now, if we close below that price, I will remain short... of course, if we rally and close above it, I will cover and go long...

Was this helpful? Please let me know if you have any other question that could help to clarify...
