TO ALL:

In our collective search for things to talk about, may I suggest that we focus our creative energies on the following:

As I recall, every press release we have received from Naxos starts out with, "We are pleased to announce....."a most uncreative mundane and just plain boring preface. Of course, I acknowledge that such a beginning is one helava lot better than one that begins with, " We are not pleased to announce......"

But certainly there must be a better way to start a press release without necessarily violating the rules of propriety? So I am suggesting we post more creative introductions to press releases on the thread, knowing full well that most Naxos people do read what we post and maybe will take heed. Further, we could make it a popularity contest with appropriate rewards, yet unnamed.

So, I'll start it out:

"We sure as hell are damn happy to tell you......"
"To all you timid souls who walked away from us, all we can say is TOUGH S**T, because the following announcement will probably make you very sick......."
"It is with the greatest pleasure that we convey to you, via this press release, factual information of such import that we find it exceedingly difficult to restrain ourselves....."
" To all you naysayers and doubters, boy, do we have a surprise for you!......."

Well, I guess you get the idea.....so put your creativity to work!
