That is simply not true.

Clinton left Bush with a 250 billion surplus (for the third year of budget surpluses I believe)and we were on track to have a balanced budget by 2012 if Bush had followed clintons formula.

But the very First thing Bush did was ram a 1.3 trillion tax cut trought the congress, to be followed by two more (one using reconciliation) and the CBO said this was the cause of the deficit problem we face todaY!

Geeesh-lol!
