I did the Valdez oil spill coordination for Health and Social Services and the governors office. My buddy Dan and I flew up in his float plan (he is a herring spotter) and landed right off a small island covered in oil.

The island was covered with a foot of oil that looked like hot tar. I'll bet burning doesn't do that much. They never did it in Valdez.

When the oil finally gets on shore, Palin and MacCain's: "Drill Baby Drill", will sound shrill-lol.

And all those southerners will finally see what the liberals have been trying to tell them. The fishing grounds will really be a mess. Oil getting on the nets. Wildlife devastated, especially birds.

It took bush's destruction of the country to get Obama and a near depression to get Wall street. I hope it doesn't take a nuclear war for people to figure out about disarmament treaties-lol.
