"Got an answer for this? "

From the National Review? Surely you jest...

The bill is far from perfect. Which is why the Senate is supposed to debate and amend a bill before voting on it. You know, like they used to do before the GOP became the Party of No. Still, this particular provision is modeled on the FDIC, which hasn't resulted in the sort of horrors that are being hypothesized here. It isn't like this is something that never existed before, but modeled on something that has worked for decades. While not flawless itself, the FDIC works pretty well.

So I am inclined to believe that this is just some more fear mongering by the Right. Y'all have to do that, y'all are depending on Wall Street to finance the next election cycle. Can't be biting the hand that feeds and all that. Otherwise, y'all would at least let the bill be debated.
