skeeter,
>it isn't left vs right, it is liberty vs tyranny.
the left right paradigm is designed to offer choice and hide the fact that it is between two versions of tyranny with ever shrinking liberty.<
You are exactly correct.
IMO, that's why it's so scummy when people on one side or the other use lies, spin, deceit etc... to manipulate the politics of an issue to advance their own political agenda at the expense of the country and its long term future.
It's not a political game anymore.
What has been going on in 3rd world countries for decades is coming to the west. Maybe Greece is the first shot in a series of ever bigger shots. But even if not, it's coming eventually. Most of the major countries are going to default or have currency collapses. The difference is that when one of the smaller ones goes down, the world can recover quickly. When the US goes down it's OVER!!
The left has made promises that no economic system could ever deliver on. We have been living beyond our means for far too long and the shit it going to hit the fan in the not so distant future.
The right has lied us into wars we shouldn't be part of and can't afford.
Both sides are influenced by traitors that have the interests of other countries as a higher priority than our own.
Both sides are in bed with the Federal Reserve/Wall St banking cartel that rapes and pillages the masses and finances the welfare state and warfare state at the expense of people without the ability to understand it.
I could go on.
It's at the point where now even Joe Public knows he's getting fucked by both parties, Wall ST etc.. even if they can't quite grasp all the details.
That's what's creating the Tea Party.
They are people that realize they are getting fucked by the government but don't quite understand it all, people that "sort of" get it but not quite, and a handful that understand it quite well and are already looking to protect their finances and the fruits of their labor from the corrupt, incompetent, greedy, traitors, socialists, fascists, and totalitarians in Washington and on Wall St that are bringing this to us.
