There are several versions of Rule 144. I had to do it once, and I filed under Rule 144k. The "k" was to lift the restrictions on my stock so that I may sell them anytime I wanted to.

Other Rule 144 filings, especially for holdings of stock between 1 and 2 years, state specifically an intention to sell and the number of shares.

I still hope somebody has a subscription to Edgar that can get the 144 filing dated 97.10.30 so we can get the full information.

Tim, the 1,250 shares you noted by Carl Beer is just an insider trade, not the Rule 144 trade filed with Edgar.
