Joe, Re -- Why don't you elaborate. (if you can) The URL provides an excellant explanation. Besides if there is anything specfic (doubtful if you know what that means) that you would like to know, provided it is within the context of this discussion group, go ahead and ask. Re -- Despite all the false rumors Paul was spreading here, the problem was not in MediaGX, but is a software Compaq bundles with Presarios. You explain the incompatibility perfectly (the problems with non-standard systems). Any third party software (of course no third party hardware is allowed) could cause such problems. Stockman
