The idea that Islam is just another garden variety religion is false. There are fundamental tenets of belief that make it incompatible with the free world's ideology, such as individual freedom to choose self-determination, which is not honoured as much as the slogan is chanted, but it's nevertheless significantly better than the Moslem world, generally - though Big Brotherdom is quite oppressive these days and crime is allowed to run rampant in the "free" world. Greece could fix itself up easily by selling Tradable Citizenships and firing a bunch of bludging government workers. I'd buy one. Greece is nice to visit, especially during the southern hemisphere's winter. Lots of lovely souvlaki. Great climate. Nice people. In only 10 years it could be the best place on Earth, bar none.
