score very high on an IQ test, but I know full well that politically they are brain dead I know people who are like that, and it's not exclusive to the left. A 'former' relative, educated at Berkeley believe it or not, was smart enough to challenge Ben Stein for his money. I saw him on TV, he lost, but you had to be smart to even get on the show. He was right of Michael Savage and Rush Limbaugh and had a social IQ of zero. Other people I know with an equally stellar IQ have magnetic Hate Republican / Love Obama stickers on their fridge. They are intellectuals. Still others are as capitalist as they come in the truest sense, yet think Obama can do no wrong. Mainly it's because they don't watch TV and don't get any news that hasn't been filtered through the print media. Frankly, I think brain power has nothing to do with it. It's more informed common sense and life experience with a healthy dose of skepticism.
