What I found funny was the article quoted a Republican member of the AZ legislature (??) saying he wanted to eliminate day labor because it was under the table and hence tax free. Further, by forcing illegals out, the wages will have to rise to get Americans doing the jobs Americans don't want (Bush's words, IIRC). So indeed, these AZ Reps are trying to raise taxes and wages. Wish they had the cajones to make that a party plank. Wonder what the base would think of that? Republicans for Full Taxation and Higher Minimum Wages. The Tea baggers will love that.
