Unlike Myth, I don't think the Fed is directly buying Spoos.
The Fed injects liquidity, which goes into financial markets
via copulas, correlations and prop desks. Everything "risk"
benefits, volatility drops, markets soar. The Fed was
monetizing the mortgage market in 2009-2010, since if
they monetized treasuries, it would look like a govt. default.
And it was... because it does not really matter what they
are monetizing.
