You are so ready to believe that christians are the ones lying to you, but do not at all even consider that others might be.I am really sorry about the experiences you say you had with "christians". But that is really no reason to slam a christian every time you come in contact with one. A man of your age and experience has had to have had more than a "few" unpleasant encounters in your life, with christian and non-christian alike. This world is full of, to say the least,"unpleasant" people.

Kent, those guys are "wolves in sheep clothing". They are out to disuade and discourage people, from ever loving Jesus. They only have one "mission" in life, and that is to quash the truth of my Saviour.
Kent I am glad that you found some common ground with my brother John, he is a good man. Cool how God can even use the RR business to create "common ground", God is good.
If what you say is true, and all you are interested in is "the words of Jesus" then get a bible with the words of Jesus in red, Most bibles are printed that way, just ask, or open the Bible yourself and look.
If your search for Jesus is an honest one then you will find Him. And it could be that God took you via this thread so that you could find Him faster. God is perfect.
