The big rats that ate the optical fiber.

Some subcontractyor bungled 200Km of fiber by laying wrongly.

In order those save their asses they said rodents ate the fiber.

The sings were to big. The rodent should have been the size of a donkey.

Someone got the photos of some big rodents (perhaps a capibara :-) and showed.

This can do real damage to optical fiber. Next they showed:

This is the more expensive fiber you should deploy.

But here they get Elmat: he can filter wayo and see through the issues clearly.
