hah. good on you. I was mostly teasing. before I went to the chicken plant, I lasted two days at an apricot orchard where my job for 8 hours was to turn split apricots meat side up. seriously. but I'm 5'7 and the conveyer belt was at 5'2" level. hurt the fak out of my back. not to mention I now take a second notion to eating dried apricots. serious... some machine split them in half, then they came by on a belt, us all lined up, and we turned them meat side up on pallets (going by on the conveyer belt), then dudes took the pallets and set them in the dirt, in the 100 degree heat, and they dried up. then people eat them. nasty. seriously. but how many people who eat their cool trail mix think of some fool spending 8 hours a day, day after day, after week, after month, leaning over a conveyer belt turning them apricots meat side up so they can be set in the sun to dry up for the cool person to eat later on?
